In Chicago, Ill., work continues on the final phase of a project that will create a new road between the Loop and Chinatown. Section 3 involves construction of a segment of Wells Street extending from Roosevelt Road to 16th Street, resulting in a new north-south through-street between Clark Street and the South Branch of the Chicago River.

Construction began in May 2018 on the California Department of Transportation's (Caltrans) $150.7 million Interstate 710 Pavement Rehabilitation and Bridge Widening Project, which was awarded to Flatiron Construction Corporation in February 2018. Crews have been making solid progress on the project that covers a 3.5-mi.

King of Prussia Equipment Corp. and MQ-Whiteman held a one-day service seminar Nov. 4 for the Whiteman hydrostatic ride-on trowels. The service school started at 8 a.m. at King of Prussia Equipment's facility in King of Prussia, Pa., with coffee and donuts.

Multiquip, unveiled a prototype of the MQ H2G EarthSmart hydrogen fuel-cell powered generator (H2G). “Multiquip is leading the way in utilizing hydrogen fuel cell technology,” said Torsten Erbel, vice president product management, engineering and customer support of Multiquip.

Multiquip will unveil a prototype of the MQ H2G EarthSmart hydrogen fuel-cell powered generator (H2G) at Cine Gear Expo 2012, the premier film, video and digital media expo for the entertainment industry. The company also will showcase the SG1400 studio generator, the GloBug balloon light, the GB2000 GloBug Diffuser and the PSG6 inverter studio cart at booths #S318 (indoor) and #201(outdoor).

Multiquip announced that four new generator models powered by Environmental Protection Agency compliant Tier IVi engines, announced earlier this year, are now shipping. These new MQ Power models are the DCA150SSC (150Kva), DCA180SSC (180Kva), DCA220SSC (220Kva) and DCA300SSC (300Kva).

Multiquip’s line of WhisperWatt 150 to 400 generators will have advanced Tier 4i engines with selected model availabilities beginning in September 2011. The portable power generators are fueled by advanced diesel engines that meet the more stringent 2011 Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier 4i standards while providing profitable performance and reliability.
