Texana Machinery celebrates the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the Case skid steer with a Rockin’ Block Party at its San Antonio facility, 4146 IH-10 East on Oct. 8 and at its Austin facility, 12805 Highway 290 East on Oct. 9. Both events will take place from 12 to 5 p.m.
At the event, attendees can demo a Case skid steer and be registered in a drawing to win one of four machines being given away in December by Case. Refreshments will be served, and equipment will be available to demo throughout the day.
“We are looking forward to hosting this celebration,” said Kirby Carpenter, president of Texana Machinery. “The Case skid steer is an extremely powerful and versatile piece of equipment that helps operators work efficiently.”
The equipment demonstrations will showcase Case’s new line of Series 3 skid steer loaders and compact skid steer loaders with the powerful, quiet Series III engine and a redesigned cab for improved airflow and operator comfort. Anyone who participates in a skid steer demonstration will be entered to win one of the four skid steers that Case is giving away in December. Various other models of Case equipment also will be available to operate.
Case dealers across the United States and Canada are partnering with local Habitat for Humanity affiliates at Rockin’ Block Parties and are expected to generate more than $50,000 in contributions for the nonprofit organization. Texana Machinery has already donated $1,000.
