Ranko Equipment of Des Moines, Iowa, is now an authorized dealer of LiuGong North America (LiuGong NA) Forklift Division's product line. Eva Erixon, Ranko Equipment president and co-founder, said the line of forklifts offered through LiuGong North America adds to a full range of solutions Ranko offers its customers, many representing the agriculture industry.

LiuGong North America (LiuGong NA) has announced that Universal Lift Systems has been appointed as a dealer for its material-handling equipment in Arizona. Universal Lift Systems LLC, of Goodyear, Ariz., is already serving the greater Arizona area. Keith and Jeannette Leabo, owners of the company, are experts in material handling equipment.

The Caldwell Group Inc. manufactured a custom lifting product that attaches to a forklift truck to unload steel coils from rail cars at MiTek USA Inc. 's stamping plant in Tampa, Fla. The attachment, supplied by Caldwell distributor Certified Slings & Supply, is known onsite as the master coil lifter.

Yale Materials Handling Corporation announced the company's first Edison Award, taking home gold in the autonomous work solutions category with its robotic reach truck. A panel of more than 3,000 executives from around the world recognized the Yale robotic reach truck for its use of innovative technology to expand the capability of lift truck-based robotics and address key business challenges facing warehousing and logistics operations.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas announced that its parent company, Hyundai Construction Equipment, recently entered into an agreement with Hyundai Motors and Hyundai Mobis to develop hydrogen-fueled excavators and forklifts, with development starting this year and plans to roll out the technology as soon as 2023.

JCB has added two liquid propane gas (LPG)-fueled models to its range of Teletruk forklifts. Initially developed to meet the needs of the logistics industry, the new JCB TLT 25 LPG and TLT 30 LPG Teletruks are suited to indoor and emissions-sensitive applications, such as warehouse and logistics facilities, food processing and greenhouse and commercial landscaping operations.

Case Construction Equipment has added hydraulic pallet forks with nursery sleeves to its skid steer and compact track loader attachment line. Ideal for landscapers, nurseries, municipalities and other contractors who deal with both palletized materials and live nursery stock, the new forks transition easily between the standard and “nursery fork” configurations, according to the manufacturer.

Manitou Americas has introduced a new line of Manitou brand industrial forklifts that includes ten electric models (ME Range) and four internal combustion models (MI Range). The addition of the ME/MI Industrial Forklift Range strengthens Manitou's product offering to 27 masted forklift options for North America, with six semi-industrial units and seven rough terrain units already established in the market.
