Mack Trucks unveiled its Mack MD Series of medium-duty trucks during the Work Truck Show March 3 to 6 at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis. The Mack MD Series includes a Class 6 and Class 7 model, both of which are exempt from the 12 percent Federal Excise Tax (FET).

Hilltip Corp of Pietarsaari, Finland, is launching a line of poly and stainless steel salt spreaders at the Work Truck Show 2020 through its North American subsidiary, Hilltip Corp. The company officially began operations in the United States on Jan. 1, 2020.

The Work Truck Show 2020 offers industry professionals the opportunity not just to see the latest trucks and equipment from more than 500 exhibiting companies, but to participate in hands-on activities to get a deeper understanding of new technology and have a little fun in the process.

More than 100 companies have announced plans to introduce new commercial trucks, bodies and truck equipment at The Work Truck Show 2020, North America's largest work truck event. Work Truck Week runs March 3–6 at Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Fleet managers, truck equipment distributors, upfitters and truck dealers from around the world will hear strategies to help create more productive and innovative work trucks, discover ways to turn commercial vehicles into work systems and gain insight into electric work truck deployment at Green Truck Summit 2020, held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show 2020.

Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (2017–2019), will serve as keynote speaker at The Work Truck Show 2020. Her moderated conversation will take place the morning of March 5, as part of the NTEA Annual Meeting (formerly President's Breakfast & NTEA Annual Meeting).

The National Truck Equipment Association held its Annual Work Truck Show in conjunction with the Green Truck Summit and Fleet Technical Congress on March 5 through 8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. A record 14,256 industry professionals from 28 countries attended the event, which opened with the Green Truck Summit, a two-day conference focused on new technologies and alternative fuels for commercial vehicles, and the Fleet Technical Congress, also a two-day event, which provided information on technology-based solutions for optimizing fleet management and operations.

NTEA recently partnered with TruckScience, a global technology provider, to offer association members access to an innovative weight calculator resource at a discounted subscription rate. The TruckScience tool comes with a library of pre-populated specifications/drawings and features, such as compliance indicators and drag-and-drop design "TruckScience is passionate about simplifying the task of designing efficient and compliant trucks, and we are proud to partner with an industry leader such as NTEA," said Jens Hellberg, TruckScience managing director.

Fleet managers will learn how to leverage new technologies and processes to find sustainable, creative solutions to enhance fleet operations for years to come at Fleet Technical Congress 2019, held with Green Truck Summit in conjunction with The Work Truck Show 2019.

North America's largest work truck event is even bigger as NTEA — The Association for the Work Truck Industry has added another conference to the Work Truck Week lineup. The Work Truck Show 2019 will feature dozens of educational opportunities, including the new Manufacturer and Distributor Innovation Conference, Fleet Technical Congress, Green Truck Summit and special sessions on lean thinking; the two-day Work Truck Show Ride-and-Drive; multiple networking events; and an exhibit floor featuring the latest commercial vehicles, equipment and technology.
