The Coast Guard and partner agencies located the missing barge, Dredge 200, Dec. 5, 2018, after it capsized and sank earlier this week in Broad Sound approximately two miles southeast of Nahant, Mass. The barge's location was confirmed by a contracted company using multi-beam sonar just north of the North Channel, the major shipping lane into Boston Harbor, in approximately 100 ft.

A man barricaded himself on the roof of a building under construction in Downtown Hollywood, Fla. and began throwing debris to the ground, Sunday morning, authorities said. According to Hollywood Police, they began to receive calls from concerned residents that someone was yelling in Hollywood's Young Circle, Sunday, at around 3:45 a.m.

Authorities say a construction worker digging a trench at a San Diego County auto dealership was crushed by a collapsing concrete wall and killed. Heartland Fire & Rescue says in a statement that the 51-year-old man was digging a trench for a new wall in El Cajon Monday when an existing cinderblock wall fell on him.

A worker is dead following an accident at a Highway 169 construction site. The Minnesota State Patrol on Monday confirmed 38-year-old David Earl Hyde of Missouri was killed when a large metal pipe was dislodged from a trailer and fell on him. The accident happened about 2:30 p.m.

One construction worker was killed and another seriously injured in a collision between their boom lift and a Metromover car early February 7th, according to Miami-Dade police. Oscar Cabrera, 43, died at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.

A man died Thursday night at a construction site on Vagabond Road in east Mecklenburg County when an object fell on him. Initial reports indicated crews responded to a trench collapse at the accident site. The man who died was a construction worker, officials said.

North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a suspected drunk driver hit five construction workers on I-77 north in the early morning of January 31, 2017. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Charles Breeding. He was charged with DWI.

A 19-year-old female construction worker was killed Monday in a work-related accident in west Bexar County. The fatality was reported around 10:30 a.m. at a construction site in the 13700 block of Potranco Road, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.
