CM Labs Simulations, developer of Vortex training simulators, has released the first concrete pump simulator on the market. The curriculum, which was developed in collaboration with the American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA), ensures operators are proficient with using the remote control box before being exposed to the stress of the work site.

At ConExpo 2020 CM Labs Simulations unveiled its most advanced excavator training exercise to date, featuring an integrated GPS guidance system that trains operators how to use this technology in the simulator. This advanced exercise immerses operators in a life-like work site environment that challenges them to dig trenches using the new GPS guidance system, while learning to make decisions based on accurate grade and terrain features.

Advancements in crane operator training simulators run neck and neck with the industry's adoption of simulator technology. The steps forward in system sophistication were incremental during the span since the technology was introduced to the crane sector in the 1990s.

CM Labs Simulations has announced the release of a state-of-the-art Dozer Simulator Training Pack that allows trainees to experience the unique feel of pushing soil and aggregate material from the seat of a virtual dozer. Trainees can perform both heavy excavation and fine grading with the simulator's 6-way blade, and dozer tracks even slip based on operator behaviour.

CM Labs Simulations, developer of Vortex training simulators, is helping Del Mar College's Division of Workforce and Economic Development to narrow the skilled labor gap by implementing a Vortex Advantage simulator in its heavy equipment operator training.
